heard about “VANTARA”, But what is Vantara and who introduced this and all
questions for this.
Hello guys!! Welcome to
another trending blog, today we’ll see about Vantara, what is Vantara, what
does it means, who started this and most important why??
WHAT IS VANTARA:
Vantara is an animal sanctuary focuses on animal
welfare and conservation; Vantara is spread over 3,500-acre land in Gujarat’s
Jamnagar Refinery Complex. Vantara is the world’s largest animal rescue,
rehabilitation and conversation center where more than a million animals have
found their home living without fear and comfort.
WHO IS FOUNDER OF VANTARA:
Anant Ambani who is son of Mukesh Ambani and
Non-Executive Director of Reliance Industries Limited with the support of
Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation started this initiative in
Reliance’s Jamnagar Refinery Complex, Vantara is named for this sanctuary
because it refers to “STAR OF THE FOREST”.
HOW CAN WE VISIT VANTARA:
For now, it is
not opened for people yet as Anant Ambani has many plans to make into state-of-the-art
conservation program, so it will be open for common visitors very soon.
VANTARA IS REALLY GOOD FOR
ANIMALS?
As Vantara was officially inaugurated by our Honorable
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 4th March, 2025, Vantara has an
initiative to focus on treatments of animals in India and abroad, and till now
rescued over 200 Elephants and many others animals like 4Rhinos. Vantara also
focuses on breeding programs for cheetahs, The Great Indian Bustard and many
for special emphasis on animals native to India. Also, PM Narendra Modi visited
Vantara and shared some of the photos and videos on their social media account as
they saw many species like large python, a unique two-headed snake, a two-headed turtle, tapirs,
leopard cubs which were left in an agricultural field and later spotted by
villagers and rescued, giant otters, bongos (antelope), and seals.
According to me, it is great initiative by Anant Ambani and
